THE 8 SIMPLE RULES FOR GROWING HERBS

1)             Provide well-drained soil.

2)             Plant in areas receiving 5-8 hours of sun daily.

3)             Add organic material to soil such as leafgro soil conditioner or composted top soil.

4)             Lime soil to keep the pH from being too acid.

5)             Give herbs a deep watering 2-3” every other week, more in dry periods.

6)             Fertilize in the spring with a well-balanced food, higher in nitrogen.  We recommend using woodace.

7)             Put down mulch at a depth of 2-3”.

8)             Cut and use your herbs frequently.  This encourages bushier growth and vigor not to mention a lot more delicious meal.
